LockBit, a ransomware group, has demanded a $25 million ransom from Canadian pharmacy retail chain, London Drugs, following an attack that forced the closure of its 79 stores across western Canada. The cyber gang threatened to release stolen data if the ransom was not paid, claiming that London Drugs was only willing to pay $8 million. Despite this, London Drugs stated that they are unwilling and unable to pay the ransom to the cybercriminals
