During the October 2024 plenary, the EDPB chose the topic for its fourth Coordinated Enforcement Action in 2025 to focus on the right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’) by controllers. This action aims to assess the practical implementation of this right by comparing processes among different controllers and identifying key issues and best practices. The EDPB's Coordinated Enforcement Framework aims to enhance enforcement and cooperation among Data Protection Authorities by coordinating national actions on specific topics and analyzing the results to provide insights for both national and EU-level follow-up
